Just back from a fabulous short break near the beautiful Spanish city of Girona to discover, not just one, but three August 2014 magazines in the post. 🙂
It’s just wonderful to see a bunting-strewn Bertie, one of The Little Beach Hut Company’s gorgeous huts, starring on the front cover of Coast. Enterprising company owners Jane Ashmore and Jayne Eyers have been an absolute pleasure to work with and both these lovely ladies definitely deserve this recognition.
Jane contacted me after spotting my colourful spread in last August’s Coast magazine about Vintage Scoops – a mother and daughter team who are living the dream of running their ice-cream business from a delightful vintage-themed van.
Having mulled a few ideas over, Jane and I agreed that Coast would be the perfect magazine to showcase The Little Beach Hut Company in all its glory and, accompanied by stunning photography from one of my colleagues, Richard Gadsby, their story is now in print, in the form of a bright and breezy eight-page feature.
I’m also thrilled to see three of my other articles in this month’s suitably summery editions of 25 Beautiful Homes and Build It magazines. So…unpacking done and looking forward to cracking on with the next feature.
