I’ve noticed that homeowner and businesswoman Kate Teofilo-Sanchez blogged one of my features as a way of helping to sell her home. This is just one of the many great benefits of having your home featured in a national interiors magazine. Kate is a freelance designer who runs her business What Katy Does from Bampton in mid-Devon. It’s all up when you spend your weekend decorating the hall, stairs and landing and your son pipes up: “It doesn’t look any different!”. Honestly! After much deliberation and buying several test pots, the final choice was Farrow & Ball’s Matchstick. Contrary to popular belief (!) I think it all looks so much fresher. Now, what to do with the growing collection of test pots in the garage? Any ideas welcome.
I couldn’t help but be inspired by the sight of an absolutely beautiful Magnolia spotted in an idyllic rural village while on a recent shoot at a fabulous home. Thankfully this photograph was taken just before it turned chilly again! 🙂

Welcome to my first blog post ever!
I’ve been busy working on updating my website over the last few weeks. It’s still not quite finished but I’m getting there.
