This is the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester where I’ll be heading on Thursday, August 8th for a very special ‘takeover’ evening – and would love to invite you.

Wish You Were Here will be showcasing work created by more than 50 members of the Design Collective Chichester (including me!) as a visual response to places we adore in West Sussex.

Inspired by the Ivon Hitchens exhibition, (currently running at Pallant House) we have interpreted a selection our favourite local destinations. The results have been turned into a special set of postcards which will be launched during this evening of design work, music, gin and ice cream – what’s not to like! 😊

We had a fantastic time with the lovely Clare Willison and her husband, Murray who are amazing, surf-loving parents. 😊

It was also brilliant to meet other family members, including son, Jamie of Dick Pearce and daughter, Evie. 😊☀️ x

I’m so excited to share news about my latest feature in this month’s issue of The English Home.

Debbie is a lovely lady and talented interior designer, who runs the thriving lifestyle store, Rooms with a View.

She has just finished renovating her third holiday cottage, which has also been lovingly transformed.

Huge thanks to all at Roger Oates for inviting me along to yesterday’s amazing, informative and fun-filled press trip at the Herefordshire head office and studio in beautiful Eastnor.

I’ve been a Roger Oates fan for many years, so to have a comprehensive, behind-the-scenes tour, complete with a chance to create my own runner design, have a go on the loom and enjoy a delicious lunch in glorious sunshine with fantastic company, was a total treat! 😊

I’m absolutely chuffed to bits to have two features in the August issue of Country Homes & Interiors.

Hot off the press! I’m so pleased to share news about my latest book, which has just been published.😊

‘Bringing Home the Catch’ tells the story of the fishing industry in Selsey, West Sussex, through a series of heartfelt interviews with local fishermen and their families.

Thanks very much to Ali Beckett for recommending me as the author and to Selsey Press for inviting me to pop in while ‘Bringing Home the Catch’ was being printed.

The book is available at The Novium Museum in Chichester, where an exhibition celebrating the rich heritage of Selsey’s fishing industry has recently opened. The exhibition runs until March 2020.

I’m delighted that my shot, taken at Selsey, was selected for the back cover of the book – see below for further details.
